RESEARCH IN DIETETIC II

Kursus ini bertujuan melatih pelajar membuat pembacaan luas di bidang dietetik dan pemakanan, membuat rujukan kepustakaan dan mendalami ilmu pemakanan dan dietetik melalui projek penyelidikan. Pelajar perlu menjalani satu projek atau disertasi dalam bentuk penyelidikan melalui penentuan masalah yang tepat dan kritis dan pembacaan yang luas. Persembahan disertasi perlu merangkumi aspek rational kajian, ulasan kepustakaan, objektif, hipotesis, rekabentuk kajian dan metodologi, hasil dan perbincangan yang menjurus ke arah penghasilan amalan dietetik berasaskan bukti. Skop penyelidikan termasuklah bidang klinikal, komuniti, perkhidmatan makanan dan pengurusan profesional dietetik. Pelajar juga dikehendaki menghasilan manuskrip saintifik untuk penerbitan jurnal di akhir kursus.

This course aimed to train the students to read widely in the field of dietetic and nutrition, conduct literature search and undersating the nutrition and dietetic knowledge through a research project. Students have to conduct a project or dissertation in the form of research through determination of problems precisely and critically and wide reading. Dissertation being submitted should encompase rational of the study, literature review, objective, hypothesis, study design and methodology, results and discussion leading to the generation of evidence based practice in dietetic. Research scope including clinical, community, food services and professional management of dietetics. Students are also asked to produce a scientific manuscript for publication in a journal at the end of the course.
