CLINICAL DIETETICS IN WARD II
Kursus ini merupakan lanjutan kepada Perkhidmatan Dietetik Dalam Wad I. Pelajar akan ditempatkan di pelbagai wad di bawah seliaan dietitian dan memahami tugas hakiki dietitian di hospital. Pelajar perlu membuat pencarian maklumat dari rekod pesakit, diagnosis, ujian makmal/prosedur diagnostik seperti maklumat yang diperlukan didalam Nutrition Care Process (NCP) untuk pengurusan diet pesakit. Seterusnya pelajar perlu menilai status pemakanan, merancang dan mengimplementasi intervensi diet yang bersesuaian dengan diagnosis pesakit. Pelajar juga perlu membuat pemantauan dan penilaian keberkesanan terhadap intervensi diet yang diberikan kepada pesakit. Pelajar perlu membentang dan menghantar kajian kes yang diikuti di dalam wad.
This course is an extension of Dietetic Services For In-Patient I. Students will be placed in various wards under the supervision of dietitians and to gain insight into the working environment of dietitians. Students are required to do information searching from patient records, diagnosis, laboratory/ diagnostic procedures as per the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) method required for medical nutrition therapy. Students are also required to plan and implement dietary intervention relevant with the diagnosis. Then, they are required to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the dietary intervention. Students are also being required to present and submit case studies that they clerked in the ward.
